The International Forum for Drugs and Alcohol Testing (IFDAT) is an annual event where drug testing and related industry professionals come together. Joe Reilly President of National Drug Screening attended this past week the 2018 forum in Dublin, Ireland.
This year’s conference provided a platform for experts from the drug and alcohol testing industry, as well as related disciplines, to meet and discuss various topics relating to the present and future. Per Bjorklov, Chairman of the IFDAT organizing committee did an outstanding job with a great location for the conference at The Marker Hotel in Dublin, Ireland. Attendees also enjoyed a boat ride up the Dublin coast, traditional Irish music, Guinness, breathtaking scenery and world renowned golf.
Reilly stated “Great to visit with and learn from drug testing industry professionals from around the world including participation from the Substance Abuse Program Administrators Association (SAPAA) and the National Drug & Alcohol Screening Association (NDASA). Great information was shared regarding marijuana in the workplace, Medical Review Officer (MRO) concerns along with current data on positive drug test results from urine, hair and oral fluid drug testing. I look forward to this annual international drug testing event.”
