Julie Floriano, Vice President Of Operations At National Drug Screening
Julie Floriano began her career in the drug testing industry in 2010 where she worked as a Medical Review Officer (MRO) Assistant. For many, starting in a new industry can be daunting but she quickly found the drug testing industry to be extremely interesting and rewarding. Working for Medical Review Officers who were amazing mentors, she quickly became very knowledgeable about the Department of Transportation regulations as they relate to drug and alcohol testing.
In January of 2014, while seeking opportunities to expand her knowledge in the drug testing industry, she was hired by Joe Reilly as the first employee of National Drug Screening. In April 2015 Julie was promoted to Vice President of Operations to manage and oversee the fast growing operation. In addition to overall operations, her responsibilities include oversite of the Randoms Program and compliance, customer service, billing and HR functions. She also is a Certified Professional Collector Trainer and has extensive experience training collectors and monitoring DOT mock collections.
Prior to working in the drug and alcohol industry she worked in the banking industry where she became the youngest bank officer for a large bank in Connecticut. In this position she was the head of their Customer Service team and became an expert in Individual Retirement Accounts. While in this position Julie was responsible for training the banks employees to excel in Customer Service; something that is also a high priority at National Drug Screening.

A Bit More About Julie That May Surprise You!
Julie had a career as a ballet dancer starting at the age of 2 and many of those years were performing at a professional level. She also had a beautiful 1969 Pontiac GTO which she used to legally drag race at a Dragway in Connecticut.
Julie was born and raised in Connecticut where she lived until 1988 when she relocated to Fort Myers, Florida to be close to her family.
Julie loves spending time with her husband Ron, two daughters and three grandchildren. They have two dogs, Roxy and Dixon who are extremely spoiled. One of Julie’s favorite things to do with her husband is cruising. She loves animals of all kinds. Her father owned a chain of pet stores while she was growing up which created a love for animals. You will find Julie carrying even the smallest of bugs AND creatures outside. Julie is also the President of her Homeowners Association.
