Each person to be trained must register separately in order to receive a certificate of completion.

All attendees will receive a comprehensive oral fluid collector training manual, a certificate of completion and a recording of the webinar session. The final step to be qualified for DOT oral fluid specimen collections will be to complete the required proficiency examination – 5 mock collections.  The mock collections will be available starting Dec 5,2025 at https://www.nationaldrugscreening.com/oral-fluid-mocks

Oral fluid specimen collector training is required by the United States Department of Transportation (DOT). Our program is the most comprehensive training in the industry for certification as a DOT oral fluid collector. Regulations for the DOT drug and alcohol testing program require oral fluid specimen collectors to be trained and qualified.

ARE YOU A DOT CERTIFIED ORAL FLUID SPECIMEN COLLECTOR?

The DOT does not certify specimen collectors. The DOT requirement is to be QUALIFIED to perform specimen collections. In order to qualify to perform oral fluid specimen collections for the DOT drug testing program, a collector must:

  1. Receive training on all steps necessary to complete a collection correctly and the proper completion and transmission of the CCF along with dealing with problem collections, fatal flaws, and correctable flaws. The collector must also receive training on their responsibility for maintaining the integrity of the collection process, ensuring the privacy of employees being tested, ensuring the security of the specimen, and avoiding conduct or statements that could be viewed as offensive or inappropriate.
  2. Demonstrate proficiency in collections under this part by completing five consecutive error-free mock collections.
This live two-Hour Live Webinar will provide you with the needed training to properly complete oral fluid specimen collections, along with how to handle improper collections and issues that may arise during the collection process. This session does not include mock collections, beginning December 5, 2024 these are available remote at:
